JOB SUMMARY
ONEOK is looking for a staff accountant to join the Accounts Payable team. The main responsibilities for this role include invoice processing, account reconciliations, and data analysis. This role will collaborate with internal groups as well as our external customers to provide high standards of customer service, quality, and value to achieve business results. Experience with invoice processing solutions such as SAP Ariba, Coupa and Oracle ERP preferred.
This position is hybrid to our corporate office in Tulsa, OK.
Job Profile Summary
Performs routine duties related to various accounting functions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Prepare various journal entries, records, regulatory reports, and budget information

Performs accounting functions related to customer accounting and accounts receivable reconciliations

Assist with preparation of tax returns and supporting tax calculations

Verify and/or perform calculations including, but not limited to:
-
Ratios
-
Percentages and discounts
-
Depreciation
-
Allocations
-
Account charges
-
Financial ratios
-
-
Utilize applicable micro and/or mainframe applications to assist with preparation and/or verification of information including, but not limited to:
-
Forecasted versus actual expenses
-
Governmental/regulatory reports
-
Financial reports
-
Quarterly income statements
-
Corporate tax returns
-

Provide information and assistance to auditors, governmental/regulatory staff, managers, employees, customers, and others concerning accounting activities
Education
-
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experience:
Work Experience

Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of: standard accounting methods and procedures

Knowledge of: spreadsheet and word processing software applications, financial accounting and reporting standards and processes, corporate tax functions and preparation of returns, economic forecasting/modeling and corporate budget functions

Ability to: apply math and algebraic formulas
