The Account Security Specialist oversees the use of fraud management systems/tools when monitoring existing checking/savings accounts to detect potential fraudulent activity and reduce the risk of loss for American Express by collecting and analyzing the data necessary to use determine the appropriate course of action. The Account Security Specialist will be responsible for managing incoming/outgoing account calls while maintaining a professional working relationship between American Express, the customer and the external bank. Other services include; identify strategic trends and create continuous process improvements.

- Demonstrated patience and ability to solve customer problems
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems while simultaneously interacting with a client
- Must be able to listen carefully to the client, establish rapport, recognize and empathize when appropriate
- Must have strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Must have experience handling incoming and outgoing calls
Eligibility of candidates
- Experience working with online deposit products
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently while continuing the work at the same time
- The ability to perform a thorough analysis of each example of financial services can be unique, using internal and external databases
- Must have conceptual and analytical skills and be comfortable making decisions and recommendations in ambiguous situations
- Must be able to digest and synthesize large amounts of information, financial and other, from multiple sources
- Strong computer literacy with a strong working knowledge of current Internet technologies, ability to analyze information for business purposes, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
