As Netflix expands globally, we continue to seek the best and brightest talent to accelerate our growth. We are looking for an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to support our global Merchant Payments operations. This position will be based in our Manila office and will report to the Singapore Accounts Payable Manager. This position will interact with the AP team in our global office and will require a flexible employee for the role. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has a strong understanding of the P2P (P2P) accounting system, the ability to work with technical teams and build strong working relationships. and improving processes and capabilities to manage high impact projects. We're looking for someone to review workflows and billing processes, assess performance, and lead the process of automating operations.
Work
Perform accounting vendor payments and bank reconciliations in local time zones
Accurate and timely completion of the payment process and response to inquiries
Review and resolve returns/payment queries
Supports services within the Global AP payment service
Follow the Bank's operational guidelines and ERP systems and tools that will ensure the accuracy and quality of payments, in accordance with the instructions of the Treasury team and the relationship with the Bank's operations.
Provide payment verification and verification, while complying with SOX security and compliance controls
Support key initiatives for supplier invoice payments, including testing host-to-host (H2H) payment integration with banking partners.
AP cross-functional alignment and payment volume optimization and scaling
Review, evaluate and recommend banking and system tools that will improve accuracy and efficiency
Support monthly billing closing activities as required (ie.
Answer questions and perform ad-hoc tasks, such as auditing and preparing financial, tax and SOX teams.
