As a Senior Account Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing invoices, accounting, and coordinating sales and marketing expenses. You will work closely with marketing, management and finance contacts to support a strong and growing group of advertising clients. The right person for this job is a self-starter, detail oriented, hard worker, good communicator and team player.
Work
Collaborate with other teams on monthly invoicing and financial tracking of Disney's media markets (including Hulu, ESPN, ABC, Disney+, etc.). Primary duties will include journal entries, account agreements, running media reports related to media marketing, and preparing digital media invoices as required.
Build relationships across multiple teams. Coordinate with collections, credit, finance, finance, marketing, and advertising services to provide strong customer service to customers and clients.
Collaborate with the collection, marketing strategy and advertising teams to solve the complex problems of planning and managing unsolicited campaigns and processing invoices that require timely and accurate revisions. Help develop performance and process design and test new process improvements.
Provide support and guidance to other staff in day-to-day operations. Understand the impact of revenue recognition on advertising marketing billing and reporting on financial reporting.
Understand and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Provide managerial assistance and ad hoc work on request as required.
Basic Qualifications
0 to 2 years of professional experience in accounting or finance
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Strong verbal and written communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
Work hard with the ability to multitask and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Work long hours at critical times as required. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and escalate conflicting issues.

Eligibility of candidates
Prior work experience within an accounting firm.
Experience with SAP, journal entry and account reconciliation.
