The role of Analysis & Performance (OAP) is to support this project by providing strategic insight by understanding first-line business processes, then applying data and analysis to drive continuous improvement efforts. The Research Specialist will be asked to work with senior management to develop creative solutions to current challenges. We are looking for data enthusiasts who want to understand the process and can connect with our business partners to add data and drive improvements. We are looking for people who want to know data that has in-depth discussions about strategic impact, business process improvement and analysis about how Delta reliably serves its customers. The successful candidate will embrace Delta's values of honesty, integrity, respect, perseverance and servant leadership. In addition, they will demonstrate strategic vision, strong analytical/process skills, the ability to act, and the ability to collaborate with senior executives to influence strategy, improve Delta's customer experience, improve operational reliability and produce results.
Functions:
Find and extract data from a variety of sources for use in research, model and project development
Integrate data source concepts into useful hierarchy
Create accountability tools such as dashboards and performance reviews that focus on KPIs that drive business
Develop and update automated reports and analytics to support division managers and business units
Build insightful leaders and front-end dashboards using data visualization tools
Understand the drivers of KPIs through various analyzes and work with the business team to develop solutions
Deliver results to company management
Establish safety practices in all work processes and procedures
