Qualification: Master's degree, Doctorate ideally in Chemistry / Material Science.

Experience: Technical Qualification with proven experience of 3-5 years in chemical analysis of various materials. Knowledge and hands-on experience with X-Ray based Products: XRF and XRD is a must; Additional experience in Optical Emission Spectroscopy would be appreciated. Hands-on experience in the field of various solids analysis.

As a Field Application Scientist, you will support our customers on technical applications and training in the field, within the Chemical Analysis Division for our Bulk Elemental Analysis product line. The candidate will work collaboratively with the commercial team to identify clear customer needs and to manage the implementation of application solutions. Critical to this role is a strong connection to our product organization. Assisting with product development and the evolving needs of our customers in the markets we serve.

Job Description:

• Efficiently maintain well-functioning of BEA Demo Lab.
• Support the commercial team by doing both presales and post sales customer support towards providing successful customer solutions.
• Orchestrate / contribute towards successful setup of calibration methods for different customers using both remote and on-site visits.
• Support existing customers with their application development and optimization.
• Support regional commercial team with prospective customer on-site visits/demonstrations.
• Assist our field service team with all application requests that arise during routine visits.
• Attend trade shows and exhibitions to present products and network with our customers.
• Maintain good working relationships with our Indian and Global technical community of Application Scientists.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Self-organised and effective time management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, to management, customers, and third parties.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 80% with occasional international travel.
• Proficient in English and Hindi. Other language proficiency is appreciated.
