IT asset management (ITAM) is the collection of inventory, financial, and contract data to manage an IT asset throughout its lifecycle. ITAM is based on a rigorous process, and tools to automate manual processes. Acquiring and integrating discovery/automated inventory, finance, and contract data into a central repository for all IT assets enables operations to effectively manage vendors and portfolios of software and hardware assets from demand to withdrawal politics, thus analyzing the performance of the asset throughout its life. .

WORK
● Design, develop, implement and document asset management systems, processes and tools.
● Identifies, organizes and maps the relationships between software, hardware, capabilities and other critical IT resources. ● Collects and interprets asset data and works with external teams and vendors to ensure data accuracy.
● Developed processes and procedures to implement ITAM. ● Supports software asset management including: name onboarding, vendor management, license renewal, audit support, and software asset management plans.
● Provides subject matter expertise and technical guidance for the design and implementation of ITAM solutions. ● Adheres to safety standards and ensures compliance.
● Manages the movement of assets, data, status and relationships between them, ie software and hardware or hardware and software. ● Review purchase orders, assist with receipts and adjustments for property acquisition.
● Identifies asset types and creates new assets as needed. ● Help with product and product planning.
● Equipment data collected, work with team members and vendors to ensure accuracy. ● Supports IT operations and delivery teams by providing oversight, guidance and project closure and asset maintenance services.
● Monitors the IT Asset Management (ITAM) database for accuracy and consistency of non-conformances. ● Participate in the collection of computer hardware and software in the United States and Canada.
● Supports software asset management, including name onboarding, vendor management, license synchronization, audit support, and software asset management plans. ● Identifies opportunities for streamlining and increasing efficiency through continuous process improvement.
Wanted
● Working knowledge of asset management or system and system life cycle processes. ● Working knowledge of Costco financial and accounting systems.
● Working knowledge of ServiceNow / CARTS systems. ● Good organizational skills.
● Attention to detail and effective research skills. ● Must be proficient in the use of brochures, word processing tools and Costco's internal financial systems.
● Must have good analytical, problem solving and customer service skills. ● Must have a positive attitude, be able to work independently and be self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
● Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with suppliers at all levels of Costco's organization. ● Willingness to be guided and trained; good team relations.
● Understanding of Costco Business Operations. ● Previous experience managing multiple roles and responsibilities effectively.
