As part of the General Counsel Organization (GCO) of American Express, this role will be an integral part of American Express' office of the legal secretary in India. This is a broad role for a flexible and adaptable professional with a basic understanding of corporate law and governance, covering key areas of corporate secretarial support for the American Express law firm in India and related activities focusing on corporate law, corporate governance, corporate governance. directors, social responsibility (including conduct and compliance) and issues related to the governance of statutory bodies (THE). Assist in corporate compliance for general meetings and management of processes related to corporate compliance, including reporting and compliance. · Responsible for maintaining legal records.
· Liaising and communicating with various people including senior management, auditors to deliver on company secretarial issues. Conduct monitoring/monitoring audits and prepare compliance reports and assist in implementing effective and efficient legal corporate governance procedures.
The role requires the candidate to have relationship management and related skills with a basic understanding of corporate law, governance practices and ITES compliance in the environment, financial services and the banking sector in India, including current issues and laws. and which emerges for the domain that affects everything.
