The impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of The HR Business Partner team provides strategic and tactical HR services to the assigned division. The incumbent will forge strong, trusted relationships with both global clients and colleagues (HR Business Partners and those in specialist roles) to facilitate the creation and effective delivery of solutions that drive business success.
 

  • Identify business challenges or needs and translate them into business focused people strategies that contribute to success.
  • Develop and grow leadership capability and effectiveness through challenging, coaching and mentoring leaders on business and people issues.
  • Drive the development and use of analytics to support data-driven business decision-making and outcomes.
  • Implement and promote HR programs and practices that align with DTCC business strategy, vision and objectives


Primary Responsibilities:

Employee Relations: Managing employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and ensuring a positive workplace culture. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Performance Management: Lead performance management and year-end planning including communications, compensation reviews, promotion requests, performance reviews and the development of action plans. Coach leaders to effectively identify, navigate and resolve employee relations and performance management issues.

HR Compliance : Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Collaboration: Collaborate with assigned business and other areas of HR and other department stakeholders to ensure coordination and consistency in delivery of all HR and site related programs and services.

Change Management : Assisting in organizational change initiatives and ensuring smooth transitions.

Employee Engagement : Fostering employee engagement and satisfaction through various HR programs and initiatives. Create an inclusive workplace through demonstrated behaviors aligned with DTCC values.

People Development : Implement organizational development and change initiatives (HR technology, talent management and development, etc.).

Organization Development : Participate in developing and implementing plans and programs including talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, organization design, employee development and learning, on-boarding, recruiting and retention, etc.

Establish strong and trusted relationships to effectively collaborate with assigned business, colleagues and partners from around the globe. Exhibit understanding of enterprise and key business drivers and applies the knowledge successfully navigate business situations to obtain desired results.

HR Reporting : Utilizes metrics and reporting regarding HR Programs (retention, turnover, employee engagement surveys) to drive an understanding of factors that contribute to the organizational health of assigned client groups

Separation Management: Conduct exit interviews; analyze trends and develop appropriate recommendations.

Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Talents Needed for Success:

  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Experience building relationships across the HR function globally and also across the organization within and outside of the core client groups.
  • Experience in working for a global organization and managing the international managers and stakeholders of different country.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's structure, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and state respective employment laws.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Should possess six or more years’ experience as a HR Business Partner and must have handled employee relations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
