Our Team:
The Associate Financial Analyst perform various FP&A functions, including analysis, reporting, and communication of financial results. Coordinates, develops, and monitors capital investment financial schedules and documentation to support regulatory filings and internal controls.
The role is based in Berlin, CT or Westwood, MA
Essential Functions:

Supports the production of the Monthly Financial Information supporting the ERP events

Assists in the review and validation of financial information and works with accounting to drive correct results

Communicates results of and any issues with financial information to management.

Coordinates large quantities of data and develops financial exhibits for filing with regulatory bodies with input from departments and disciplines from across the company including regulatory, corporate, field functional areas, and accounting.

Assists in the preparation of financial budgets and projections related to ERP events.

Provides information to management to assist in the understanding of financial performance.

Ensures communication through reports to departmental management monthly of any specific financial performance information such as budget versus actual and current versus prior year actual comparisons for making management decisions or evaluation of trends.

Coordinates with Eversource departmental areas on financial and business reporting requirements.

Works effectively with others; providing financial analysis and problem-solving data
Qualifications:

Familiarity with budgeting processes, financial reporting and analyses and financial statements

Emerging financial acumen

Ability to work with various levels within the organization

Problem solving skills and ability to manipulate and analyze large quantities of data

Written and verbal communication skills

Strong Customer service orientation

Demonstrated skills with MS Office (including excel, PowerBI, powerpoint, word)
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics or related discipline
Experience:
-
1+ plus years of experience
Compensation and Benefits:

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $64,040.00 - $71,160.00 plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.
