The In-studio Associate Photographer is responsible for producing stunning e-commerce PDP videos and stills with Profoto Style Shoots content automation systems, as well as tabletop, on-model and off-model photography. This role will report to the photo studio production manager.
Responsibilities
- This role will be responsible for ideating and shooting all apparel brands and categories from intimates to activewear.
- The ideal candidate is a proactive creative with a strong eye for detail, while understanding fashion and industry trends.
- In-studio photography with the ability to manage and produce outstanding in-studio visual photos and video content.
- Collaborate with PDP photography managers, senior photographer, photo stylist and product managers.
- Actively engage in the creative process for both post-production and live-production needs; work with all parties to achieve defined goals.
- Monitor and maintain photo and video equipment inventory and facilitate service repairs when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to create and execute ideas that push the envelope and take our brands to the next level.
- Participate in weekly creative meetings that will ideate new projects and outline schedules for upcoming projects.
- Adjust lighting and camera angles to produce premium content for still life/laydowns, on-model and off-model content.
- Strong desire to learn new techniques and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 1+ years work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of photography and sample management systems such as, but not limited to, Shot Flow, Workhorse, Capture One, Adobe suites and Microsoft Office.
Prefer, experience with Style Shoots systems: Live (on-model photography and video), Vertical (hollow mannequin photography) and Horizontal (laydown photography).
Knowledge of post-production processes and file management.
Familiarity with Canon 5D’s EOS full-frame camera and Canon C300, C200 video equipment.
Familiarity with using high CRI-LED lighting and in-studio strobe photography.
Mac/OS proficient.
Strong apparel portfolio required.
