Description::
Responsibilities:

• • Provides domain expertise to engineers on Testing and Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies and processes, crafts and executes test scripts, assists in preparation of test strategies, sets up and maintains test data & environments as well as logs results. :
  • Functions as a platform SME who drives quality strategy at the application level, identifies new opportunities and drives Software Engineers to deliver the highest quality code. :
  • Involved in the review of the user story backlog and requirements specifications for completeness and weaknesses in function, performance, reliability, scalability, testability, usability, and security and compliance testing, and provides recommendations. :
  • Plans and defines the testing approach, providing advice on prioritization of testing activity in support of identified risks in project schedules or test scenarios.:
  • Develops test plans, testing resource requirements, and overall scheduling of testing tasks.:
  • Executes test cases/scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications, including Systems Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing.:
  • Generates test data to support the requirements and test case for various test phases.:
  • Responsible for handling the definition, implementation, and integration of quality principles into the design and development of software and IT processes for the team.:
  • Monitors and tracks the resolution of defects.:
  • Recognizes opportunities to adopt creative testing technologies and techniques.:
  • Looks beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities.:
  • Requirements::

Minimum Qualifications:

• • 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), Software Developer, or similar Automation role.:
• - Business Product Knowledge - Working knowledge of the Travel Industry.:
  • Experience with any of the Global Distribution Systems such as SABRE, Travelport, Amadeus, etc.:
  • Experience writing functional, regression, performance test cases from the requirement.
• Proficiency testing RESTful APIs using postman is a MUST:
  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL Database like Postgres, MSSQL, Cassandra is a MUST:
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology (SCRUM):
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills:
  • Deals well with ambiguous/under-defined problems; able to think abstractly
  Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.:

Bonus Points :

• • Experience with Test automation using JAVA, SELENIUM, CUCUMBER, TestNG, Junit, etc. :
  • Experience testing applications in public clouds such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.:
  • Constant curiosity and a desire to improve yourself and your fellow engineers.:
  • Strong sense of ownership and a proponent of DevOps culture.:
  • Experience with Java-based service frameworks.:
