The Starbucks experience starts in our bakery where we have a team of dedicated professionals and support system teams including planning, warehouse management, packaging, baking, maintenance, engineering and logistics.
As an automation expert, you:
Assist engineers in updates, changes and testing of new changes.
Assist in the implementation and design of new facilities. Work with scheduling and automation tools.
Electrical and equipment troubleshooting for packaging and processing equipment, shipping systems, auxiliary plant equipment, and home automation systems. Contribute to ongoing improvement projects.
Demonstrate and understand safety as a core value and adhere to safety requirements as outlined in our safety policy; empowering and training others to do the same. Understand and follow established safety guidelines, following all safety procedures (e.g. PPE, locks, tags).
Supports food safety, legal and quality programs. Maintain product quality by adhering to good manufacturing practices, preventive food safety controls, product specifications and quality procedures. Analyze and document quality metrics using analytical tools. Perform other duties as required in support of business objectives and Starbucks mission and values.

We would like to hear from people who have:
Relevant experience in a similar industry (3 years)
PLC programming specific to Rockwell Automation software suite (3 years)
Electrical Troubleshooting (3 years)
General industrial management in electrical systems (3 years)
Description of mechanical and electrical drawings, including original equipment manuals (1 year)
Knowledge of applicable electrical codes including NEC 70 and NFPA 70E (1 year)
High school/GED, US military service, trade school, technical college
Professional SCADA/HMI development team or higher.
