This Awards Manager will lead the UK awards campaign within a team of managers working on awards and event programming across EMEA, working cross-functionally across Netflix and with the company external and partners.
The Awards Manager (UK Advertising) will report to the Senior Manager (Delivery and Award Planning)
Work
Awards work and media outlets across the UK including AMPAS, BAFTA, BIFA and UK craft guilds (eg BSC)
Managing audits in the UK, including booking locations, and liaising with internal audit teams. Manage emails that promote Netflix reviews and other rewards programs
Coordinate with colleagues in the United States to ensure coordination of campaign planning and execution
A senior and knowledgeable member of the UK Craft Guilds, building and maintaining relationships with key individuals and groups, as well as leadership for partner events.
Management of the FYC BAFTA website, including asset and property management, uploading and weekly reporting. Management of UK companies and consultants.
Ad-hoc support to all teams as required, including referrals, internal and external staff and campaigns across EMEA.

We are looking for a member who is interested in jumping into the project. They are hard-working, meticulous and tireless in trying to find solutions. They will be able to communicate with a wide variety of outsiders including but not limited to artists, talent buyers, companies, vendors, donors and others. responsible for activities to improve communication and to ensure the best representation of Netflix. They will be able to communicate confidently and effectively with partners across the region and the world. They must be organised, efficient and able to use their judgment to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks at once. They have a positive attitude, are hard-working and thoughtful, able to approach challenges and obstacles with maturity, and have a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the entertainment industry, preferably in a gift, festival, networking or corporate setting. Experience of working on film award campaigns for AMPAS and BAFTA is essential, as well as a good knowledge of the UK film and series industry. Direct work experience and talent is highly desirable.
The role will include evening and weekend work; Although the role will be UK focused, regular travel will likely be required to support team work in the EMEA region. In that group, we have told leaders that focus on different types of content; These ICs strive to update relevant content (both internally and externally) and apply this knowledge to the work of the group above and beyond their individual roles.
