Full Job Description:
The General Manager is responsible for developing and training field managers and supporting the foundation's day-to-day operations. Careers in aviation require people who have demonstrated leadership experience and have a high level of motivation to achieve exceptional results. The successful candidate will effectively lead a diverse leadership team to support, engage and develop flight attendants. The candidate must apply Delta standards and obey the traffic laws. Plan and implement key metrics to achieve critical metrics including, but not limited to, safety, operating budget, customer NPS, employee satisfaction and leadership development.
Ensure that field managers perform their duties according to strict operational procedures and system stability
Support the execution of the IFS and the company strategy by ensuring that the correct report understands the "cause of the cause" and the expected results.
Provide mentorship, leadership development and maintain positive employee relations for a diverse workforce
Build trust and respect with flight attendants and appropriate team members through open and transparent communication methods
Effectively work with and support the Regional Engagement Officer (EIG)
Collaborate with the CEO to align key work plans and infrastructure deployments for employees
May act as a liaison at the station level, divisional organization representing the IFS
Perform all in-flight flight attendant duties as required
If not yet qualified as a flight attendant, must complete initial flight attendant training and maintain qualification
Travel required
Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends and holidays to support 24/7 global operations
