Do you get excited about owning relationships with Highly Recognized National clients and helping them make their visions come to life? Parkway Construction, a top 400 ENR firm with over 40 years in the construction industry has an immediate need for a Business Development Associate.
Our ideal Candidate:
- Capable of developing a strategic plan to penetrate and grow a book of business
- 5+ years of networking / relationships in the construction industry
- Knowledge of Commercial Market Segments/Sub-Segments/Project Type (Retail, Restaurant, Hotel, Healthcare - Ambulatory Services, etc.)
- Successful track record of accessing how customer organizations are structured and positioning accordingly
- Capable of producing inorganic prospects and properly pursuing opportunities
- Ability to determine what the customer values and deliver value propositions that differentiate
- Diligent at debriefing win/loss with customers and internal operations
- Deep experience of presenting RFQ/RFP in interview settings with customers
- Understands a service-based sales cycle (extended cycle)
- Coordinates well across business functions with preconstruction and operations
- Ability to write/coordinate RFP/RFQs and prepare for interviews
- Ability travel nationally 25 -40% of the time.
- Works well on teams
- 4 year degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or equivalent experience
- Presentation skills that represent the company's core values.
This position is Based out of our corporate office in Lewisville TX but candidate must be able to travel

Pay: $65,069.57 - $82,297.45 per year
