JS West has an exciting and inviting opportunity for a Business Development Representative to be based in our Colfax region. Reporting to the Director of Sales, in this position you will be responsible for bringing in new business opportunities for the propane operations usually though col email, cold calls, networking and social selling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
· Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
· Present our company to potential clients
· Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
· Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
· Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
· Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
· Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and company executives
· Report to the Director of Sales on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
· Communicate and collaborate with the Retail and Wholesale Division managers to stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Technical Knowledge
· Familiar with propane industry concepts, trends, practices, and procedures, including government regulations
· Thorough knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and best practices
Job Requirements
· One year of propane industry experience
· Proven work experience in sales
· Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
· Computer literacy with a proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· Ability to deliver engaging presentations
