Position Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for: implementing statistical and quantitative analysis of lottery data; designing, building, and maintaining Tableau Dashboards in an enterprise server environment; and developing and maintaining SQL Server queries associated with their dashboards and analyses.
Required:
- 2-5 years of experience in analysis-centric industry role (data analyst, data scientist, BI analyst, Tableau developer)
- 2-5 years of experience with Tableau and Tableau Server
- 2-5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, data science, data analytics, or equivalent education/work experience
Desired:
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization best practices and optimized query design Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience performing self-directed work in a team environment.
- Proven ability to learn complex data systems.
- Proficiency with analysis libraries in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, xgboost)
- Experience with git for version control.
