Under general supervision, independently perform assigned duties in accordance with University, state and federal guidelines. Performance review annually.
Salary & Compensation
- UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. Qualifications
- 1-2 years In related area and/or equivalent experience/training (Required)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs activities in a university setting. (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of UCLA Campus and Enrollment Management policies and procedures. Working knowledge of UCPATH, personnel policies and procedures, including the University's on-line Time Reporting System (TRS), purchasing and accounts payable (BruinBuy) and Travel Express (Preferred)
- Analytical skills to review documents, information, situations and procedures in order to identify any discrepancies or potential problems, and generate alternatives or offer solutions and/or methods of implementation, based on existing guidelines when action of higher level is needed. (Required)
- Sensitivity to the needs of a diverse student population, and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a highly visible team interacting in a cooperative and professional manner. (Required)
- Ability to work independently, organize work, set priorities that accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities, handle several projects simultaneously, and adapt to frequent schedule changes and interruptions. (Required)
- Demonstrated skill in assessing timelines Skill in organizing material and information in a systematic manner to maximize efficiency and minimize duplication of effort. (Required)
- Demonstrated commitment to high quality customer service. Ability to diplomatically handle difficult or urgent matters in a confident and proficient manner, and to maintain confidential and sensitive information with tact and discretion. (Required)
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to convey appropriate messages, give instructions and obtain information. Skill in writing concise, logical, and grammatically correct business correspondence and procedures. (Required)
- Commitment to quality teamwork and initiative, independence and motivation are required. Ability to exercise decision-making skills on administrative issues. (Required)
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with administrators, faculty, staff members, media and the public. Demonstrated interpersonal skills for purposes of collaboration, negotiation and information exchange at a variety of levels. (Required)
- Skill in using Excel, Word and PowerPoint to create and analyze data and develop reports. (Required)
