Full Job Description:
The Business Systems Support Specialist will work closely with Business Systems Support technicians who support the manufacturing floor for various needs. These could include troubleshooting various IT applications issues, maintaining printers, reviewing SOPs, processing data, and implementing tactical support of changes. A successful candidate can effectively train technical staff and manage competing demands from various production departments.

What to do
Act as a source of support for IT application related issues in the manufacturing industry
Find complex application problems and create documentation for troubleshooting
Serve as a representative and advocate for our business processes in all departments
Understand the end-to-end of manufacturing systems across all industries
Act as an incident manager and online response agent for line failure situations
Be able to solve problems quickly and accurately to complete and prioritize multiple tasks
Demonstrate and maintain an open mind in words and actions by backing up each word quickly and intelligently.
Develop a rigorous training program for new team members
Handle a heavy workload with a positive attitude.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering field or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
Must be willing to work on night shift schedule (M-F 10PM – 6:30 AM)
Availability for on-call support for alternative shifts when needed
Minimum 2 years of software support experience in manufacturing field
Experienced in SQL, Advanced Excel, Sharepoint, Confluence, JIRA and other Microsoft Applications
Experience troubleshooting basic network, software, printing problems and hardware issues
Ability to be a resilient change agent capable of leading an organization through paradigm shifts
Excellent communication skills, including ability to express well-reasoned, independent thought
Proven track record of adapting in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Ability to collaborate and foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
