Commissions Associate

Full Time position, M-F 8:30-5pm

Purshe Kaplan Sterling Investments (PKS) is seeking a Commission Associate to help with its growing network of Registered Representatives. PKS is a fast-growing brokerage firm located in the heart of Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional work ethic, be detail oriented and work well under pressure. They must have excellent data entry and Microsoft Excel skills, knowledge of Salesforce a plus. Must be able to be proactive, take initiative and be able to work well within a team setting, as well as independently.

Job Description:

-Data entry into Excel and an online commission platform, ensuring accuracy and cross checking between different workbooks and programs

-Communicate with financial representatives and fund companies to attain information on commissions

-Work with other departments to ensure accurate data flow and seamless onboarding transition of financial representatives

-Provide commission web training to ensure financial representatives understand our commission cycles and commission flow

-Be able to run reports from the online commission web and export and manipulate them in excel for other departments, financial reps, and regulators

-Everyday office essential duties, i.e. Scanning in commission statements, processing mail, emailing correspondence between departments and financial representatives, answering of phone calls etc.

-Employee will be working with and preparing sensitive financial documents

-Additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

Strong Microsoft Excel Skills

Excellent data entry skills

Strong communication skills

Be able to pass FINRA SIE and Series 99 tests
