Full Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced content developer focused on game developer documentation to work with the Netflix Games Developer Platform (NGDP) team, a team consisting of front-end and back-end engineers, product developers, managers products, other content creators and other service partners. The NGDP team works with many internal teams to create new features that our game partners use in their games, such as usernames, leaderboards, campaign ratings, cloud storage, and more. . As our game continues to grow, we are looking for a full-time Content Developer to lead the game development and documentation support process, creating the highest quality experience with our game development team internal and external including all relevant technical information and requirements. to implement a special online service for mobile and cloud games on Netflix.
The candidate will have experience in content design/strategy, UX writing, and technical writing, with the ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. They will be motivated, hard working, well organized and always pay attention to details. They will work with cross-functional teams, especially engineers, to integrate and communicate complex technical information. They will also be able to prioritize their own work, communicate effectively and represent their work to key stakeholders. And of course, they will be interested in a deep knowledge of the game and game development.
Your role:
Work with Netflix game development engineers, product managers and developers to create, coordinate, organize, analyze and improve the information game developers need to connect and use the Netflix SDK and API.
Create office standards, tone and style, style guidelines and best practices for presenting technical information
Create a standard operating procedure for how Netflix game platform engineers receive information and present it to game developers
Create an article about how to send document changes to the team working at Netflix, as well as external game partners (such as release notes for new releases and updates)
Collaborate with product developers to understand platform strategies applied to UI products, to ensure game developers are delivered in a meaningful and actionable way.
Review existing documents and identify opportunities for updates and optimization; promotes policy implementation improvements by supporting work processes, activities, and collaborative processes
Initiate, define and lead new content creation projects from concept to completion in the sports book product area
Describe a project redesign process and content planning process for projects to stimulate discussion and lead to implementation
Delegate content planning tasks to key stakeholders, teams, and content creators and writers for visibility and feedback.
