The Payments and Contracts Administration Team (PACT) prepares scripted procedures for US/(UCAN), and First Language (LLO) and sits within UCAN's Business and Legal Affairs (BLA) team. The PACT team is responsible for ensuring that all Above-The-Line (ATL) services are paid in a timely and accurate manner, we calculate and track the various milestone dates and deadlines in relation to our own systems.

Effectively review, evaluate and finalize contract financial services of contracts and sales notes for ATL talent working domestically and internationally. This includes payment for option/licensing, script acquisition, compensation, development materials, first-time writers' housing, preparation/production/publishing process for comedy and multi-camera sitcoms, one-hour drama series, and endings. and programming. (ATL talent includes: actors, writers, producers, non-writers, consultants, directors, producers, and casting directors)
Prepare payment authorization and payment systems for ATL talent to support timely and accurate payments from Netflix Studios, our support and completion teams and/or show accounting teams. Including but not limited to milestone payments, weekly salaries, bonuses, royalties, etc. We provide guidance on PH&W rates for applicable guilds (where applicable). In addition, discussions with our tax team to highlight potential problems with loan companies, payment companies, workplaces, factories, etc.
Track the ATL contract period from development through revision, including follow-up periods, license and permit selection periods, and retention periods. We document and provide important notices, including extension notices, exercise of options and return to work. We create and distribute menus to coordinate the upcoming season's deadlines, track writers' room commitments, pay for SAG, the WGA 67 section, and the series' deadline. Prepare DGA and DGC Director memos for execution and ensure directors are paid accurately and on time (including overtime, overtime, etc.)
Create and manage WGA newsletters and coordinate with our script coordinators, in-house creative and legal teams for episodic script stories and delivery status necessary to ensure timely payment.
