Cost Accountant

Full job description

We are seeking a Cost Accountant who assists and is primarily responsible for accounting for inventory, inventory costing and project accounting, in connection with the Company’s biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations. A typical day might include:
Assists in preparing standard costs for OPM (Oracle Process Manufacturing) including materials, labor and overhead.
Prepares and maintains standard costs for inventory items.
Prepares inventory related month end journal entries.
Monitors inventory levels through the various stages of the supply chain.
Provide various account analysis and reports for management review regarding monthly production results.
Prepares monthly assigned balance sheet accounts reconciliations and fluctuation analysis.
Assists with annual physical and cycle counts for warehouse and CMO inventory levels.
Supports any required SOX, internal and external auditor requests. This role may be for you if you have:
Cost accounting experience in manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Oracle enterprise system is a plus.
Computer Experience: Proficient in Excel.
Knowledge of PowerQuery is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have a required BS/BA in Accounting or related field with a minimum of 1-5 years general accounting experience. THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE AND REQURES BEING IN THE OFFICE 5 DAYS/WEEK.

The salary ranges provided are shown in accordance with U.S. law and apply to U.S. based positions, where the hired candidate will be located in the U.S. If you are outside the U.S, please speak with your recruiter about salaries and benefits in your location.
Salary Range (annually) $65,100.00 - $106,300.00
