Full job description
The responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:
Setting up and ongoing reporting of cost accounting infrastructure for the manufacturing plant in Braeside Supporting the transition from the local Tasman ERP system to the Diversey SAP ERP system ( currently still on legacy ICS system ) Cost/Finance business partner for key stakeholders at Braeside production facility Support and insights for cost accounting reporting Thorough review of the balance sheet and P&L on a monthly basis Ad-hoc financial and accounting analysis Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database Construct data accumulation systems Determine fixed costs (e.g. salaries, rent and insurance) Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs) Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department) Analyze and report profit margins Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts Assisting in month-end and year-end closing Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions
