Job description
Our customer service representative is the face of Aetna/Mercy Care and impacts the customer service experience through how customer service inquiries and issues are handled via telephone, Internet, or written correspondence. Customer requests are of a basic and sometimes complex nature. Engages, consults, and coaches members based on members' specific needs, preferences, and understanding of Aetna's plans, tools, and resources to help guide members along a clear path to care. Answers questions and resolves issues based on phone calls/letters from members, providers, and plan sponsors. Transfer the resulting rework to appropriate personnel. Document and track contacts with plan members, providers, and sponsors. The CSR guides the member through its member benefit plan, Aetna policy and procedures, as well as being aware of resources to comply with regulatory guidelines. Take responsibility for fully understanding the member's needs by building a trusting and caring relationship with the member. Anticipate customer needs. Provides the customer with related information to answer unasked questions, e.g. more plan details, benefit plan details, member self-service tools, etc. Use the customer service threshold framework to make financial decisions to resolve member issues. Explain members' rights and responsibilities under the contract. Handles incoming pre-authorization and appeal requests not handled by Clinical Claim Management. Conducts a review of members' claims history to ensure accurate tracking of benefit caps and/or coinsurance/deductible.
Qualifications Required
Customer service experience in a transaction-based environment such as a call center or retail store is preferred, demonstrating an ability to be empathetic and compassionate. Experience in a production environment. High school or GED equivalent.

- Call Center, Insurance, Doctor, Medicaid or Medicare. Bilingual but not mandatory

Because if you do so, you will need to listen to that question again. And trust me guys. This is very bad impact. So try to understand and listen to the question properly at once.
