Data Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement robust data extraction and transformation processes using GCP tools like BigQuery and leverage Google Colab for collaborative and interactive data analysis.

Optimize SQL queries and BigQuery jobs in Google Colab to enhance performance and reduce latency, ensuring efficient data processing and analysis.

Design and implement data models in Google Colab that align with business requirements, providing a foundation for accurate and insightful analytics.

Integrate and leverage Google Analytics data in Google Colab to enhance the understanding of user behavior, customer journeys, and other relevant metrics for business optimization.

Utilize Python programming skills to enhance data analysis, automation of processes, and integration of data pipelines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand analytical requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools in Google Colab and other platforms to present data-driven insights to key stakeholders.

Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data through continuous monitoring, validation, and troubleshooting of data pipelines.

Document data processes, analytics methodologies, and Python code to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain a comprehensive data repository.

Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to analytics, GCP tools, Python, and Google Colab to continually enhance skills and contribute to the team's success.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

4-6 years of proven experience as an Analytics Engineer or similar role.

In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, and proficiency in SQL

Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.

Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.

Proficiency in Python programming for data analysis.

Experience with collaborative data analysis in Google Colab.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
