Enterprise Delivery and Innovation (EDI) is seeking a Data Product Manager to lead the development and ongoing support of various data sources and decision support tools to help advance Delta's business strategy. Delta's corporate strategy focuses on Delta's ability to expand adoption of premium products, increase customer trust, and be a world-class reseller, all while maintaining our industry-leading revenue per unit performance.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing key data sources needed to support wider business and corporate decision-making. This person will work with business and IT teams to create and deliver valuable data, training, and/or tools across Delta Enterprise. This role will perform data analysis as needed to improve data quality or answer various business questions as well as develop and/or improve business reporting. The successful candidate will combine strong business acumen and technical skills to drive data enablement and decision making across the organisation. Responsibility 

• Identify and understand Delta business data opportunities and priorities to deliver timely and reliable solutions that meet business needs 
• Work closely with business and IT partners to understand and translate business requirements into reliable and actionable data solutions. 
• Independently lead the design, modeling and creation of new business data sources (e.g. share, offer, order, etc.) 
• Act as a subject matter expert for multiple datasets and/or tools. 
• Drive your existing suite of enterprise EDI reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness 
• Design, build, and deploy Tableau dashboards or analytic reports to help multiple business teams identify revenue opportunities faster and more efficiently. 
• Effectively communicate a complex technical topic to a non-technical audience, as well as create/deliver training for business data and tools. 
   

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS) 

• Over 3 years of proven ability in data analysis 
• Strong experience in Tableau, SAS, SQL, UNIX, Hyperion/BRIO, Excel, PowerBI, Python, R or similar skills required 
• Experience and interest in enabling and managing data for a large community of users 
• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and strong analytical and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels 
• Knowledge of business tools, processes and data is preferred. 
• Ability to independently lead multiple projects from inception to completion and make priority strategic decisions 
• Must perform satisfactorily in current position 
• Where permitted by applicable law, you must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine prior to your hire date to be considered for a job in the United States, if you are not currently employed at Delta Air Lines, Inc. .
