Job Summary/Company:
A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a Database Developer to join their SQL development team. This is a hybrid role with Tuesdays and Thursdays on-site, with a 3rd day of your choice. If you are interested in learning more about Sparks Group and the opportunity, please submit your resume today.
Responsibilities:
- Develop/maintain large scale SQL Server Database structures
- Develop/maintain T-SQL code (Stored Procedures, functions, and reviews)
- Develop/maintain Business Intelligence SSIS projects (SSIS Project Deployment Preference)
- Develop/maintain SQL Reporting with SSRS
- Develop/maintain Production troubleshooting scripts for other internal groups
- Develop/maintain automation and deployment tools for the Operational DBAs (PowerShell Preference)
- Serve as a technical/research resource for the Operational DBAs
- Create/maintain Database servers within Development Environment
- Manage code/database objects with source control tool (i.e., TFS)
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of Microsoft SQL experience with at least 4 years of operation experience in an enterprise database environment and 4 years of programming experience
- Experience with MS SQL Server 2014, 2016 or newer
- Worked extensively with complex SSIS and SSRS projects
- Experience with large data sets (their databases range from 40,000 rows to over a million rows of data)
