Casey's is seeking a full-time DC Inventory Control Specialist for our Distribution Center in Terre Haute, Indiana.
What you'll do as a DC Inventory Control Specialist:
- Performs daily cycle counts of inventory items in the distribution center. Communicates results of counts to warehouse supervisor and shift supervisor.
- Support others by carrying out routine inventory tasks following established procedures. Reports area of concern to Senior Inventory Control Specialist.
- Completes periodic audits of outbound orders.
- Completes periodic audits of receipts.
- Collects expiration data for FEFO SKUs from the pick and backstock locations. Reports the dates to the team lead for further action.

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience or general understanding of operation and function of inventory calculators, scanners, and computers is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Functional reading, writing, and math skills.
- Must have ability to operate a hand-held scanning tool to complete counts.
- Should also be capable of working with numerous people in a high-volume area.
- Work is primarily performed in a warehouse office and production setting, to include freezer and cooler areas.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, standing for long periods of time, regular bending, squatting, stooping and kneeling.
