The DevOps Engineer's responsibilities will include automating software releases, deployment systems, and infrastructure. This role will manage various development, test, staging and demo environments (code deployment, backups, data refresh), as well as software deployment and management in Costco environments, while leveraging as much automation as possible. A DevOps engineer will be responsible for advancing technology in a collaborative and creative environment, using the latest technologies and industry best practices, and finding better and more efficient ways ideal to deliver solutions that meet business goals. A DevOps engineer is responsible for code release, combining the understanding of engineering and coding. From designing and implementing system software to analyzing data to improve existing ones, a DevOps engineer increases productivity in the workplace. They understand the software development lifecycle and have a clear understanding of various automation tools for the development of a digital pipeline (CI / CD pipeline). WORK
● Designs, develops, maintains, documents and implements complex Azure resource environments.
● Manage, deploy and create automated continuous improvement (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines.
● Functional automation built in configuration as code to provide Azure cloud services/resources in production and production environments.
● Adopt engineering best practices to deliver advanced and scalable solutions.
● Follows established standards and best practices.
● Operates in an agile environment, collaborates with the operations, development and functions of AQ to develop solutions and systems predisposed to scalability, safety and simplified maintenance.
● Conte, develops, documents and implements complex environments for our business partners, suppliers and teams.
● Developed new automation solutions for migrating legacy systems and processes to the cloud.
● Provide technical advice to our business, suppliers and service members.
● Develops and documents standards and best practices, and guides junior engineers.
● Solves complex problems in a creative and efficient manner, tailored to the needs of each client.
● Provides applications on supported platforms or containers on Linux and Windows systems.
● Integrates processes including SQL, information applications and application code with operating systems and resources.
● Explains complex things and communicates them clearly to others.
● Oversee existing and emerging DevOps technologies and tools.
● Monitor user releases and bring resource issues to resolution.
● Uses tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, Jenkins, Puppet, Azure Test Labs and Git to improve and accelerate the delivery of our products and services.
● Participates in the release process and contributes to the development of tools.
● Makes each team member satisfied by providing tools and training and bringing together different groups to work together for a common goal.
