Job Posting: Digital Content Creator
Organization: National Association for Gun Rights
Location: This is an in-office position at either our Washington DC or Loveland, CO office.
Position: Full-Time
Salary (Non-Exempt): $50,000 - $60,000 (contingent on experience)
Role Overview: The National Association for Gun Rights is seeking a creative, dynamic, and skilled Digital Content Creator to join our team. This role offers the unique opportunity to influence and engage our community through a variety of digital platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Social Media Director, contributing to the development and execution of our digital content strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and impactful digital content, including social media posts, memes, Reels, YouTube videos, and other multimedia formats.
- Work closely with the Communications Director and Director of Social Media to align content strategies with our organization's mission and audience engagement goals.
- Edit and produce visual content in response to breaking news and events.
- Stay up to date with current trends in digital media and incorporate innovative approaches in content creation.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for campaign themes and content.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for user experience across all channels.
- Limited travel will be required for full-time staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Digital Content Creator or in a similar role in digital media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Premier. Knowledge of Illustrator and After Effects is a plus but not required.
- Basic understanding of firearms and a commitment to the principles of gun rights.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in an engaging and accessible manner.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
