We are looking for an experienced leader with a background in ML and technology to drive the design and launch of Amex's next machine learning platform in the cloud that serves our research and ML community. You will lead the team to gather the needs and requirements and integrate them into a technical roadmap and work with technology and other collaborators on the implementation and delivery of this platform. You will also be responsible for bringing the company's best practices in machine learning and identifying key findings to support important decisions.
Functions:
- Develop a vision, strategy and roadmap for products and cloud AI/ML infrastructure to achieve meaningful impact on our products.
- Create new AI technologies, services and platforms to enable scalability of Amex products and offerings
- Bring innovation to Amex through best practices and practices in the field of external AI
- Ability to experiment and quickly develop new technologies to maximize business impact
- Lead all key aspects of the next generation of AI such as architecture, computation (GPU, CPU), scalability, implementation, operations and optimization.
- Identify and track key success metrics for the ML platform
- Work with senior executives to prioritize business and ML platform needs
- Collaborate with Big Data and Platforms for AI Platform integration
- Provide frequent updates to stakeholders and business partners on platform building progress and milestones
Eligibility:
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field. 7+ years of hands-on experience with big data such as Hadoop, Hive, Scala, Python and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning techniques
- Experience in product, technology and data platform development
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Excellent communication skills: ability to translate technical metrics and analysis into simple content and present to business partners and senior management.
- Ability to achieve goals by influencing, supporting and building a team
- He is good at working and managing relationships within the company (including negotiation and influencing skills). A strategic thinker with the ability to create strategies for multiple stakeholders and work effectively in a dynamic organization.
