Full Job Description:
Netflix is looking for a Senior Product Assurance Manager to join us in delivering the next generation of video games to a global audience. This project is part of the main project that will promote the development and delivery of new games on the Netflix service. In this role, you will lead quality assurance efforts across a large range of games from internal and external game companies, setting quality standards in feature development, automation, live service testing and device compatibility and compliance. . You will work closely with the game development team, product, platform engineering, program management, release management and many others within the Netflix organization to deliver high quality games and our services. The role will lead the DevQA team within the team, working QA, device compatibility and acceptance testers, and building relationships with external testing organizations.
Functions:
Build and execute a larger QA strategy to meet the growing needs of games and Netflix services
Continually evolving tools and processes to support multi-site studios, addressing all aspects of game testing needs - Integrated Game Team QA (DevQA), Functional QA (FQA), Compatibility and Compliance QA (CCQA) for each category; Development of tools and automation
Find and build productive collaborations with overseas testing projects to enable the required support
Work with development leaders and establish the best testing process that fits the unique needs of each game during its development and lifecycle to get it ready.
Recruit and manage a strong team of QA managers and QA analysts who work closely with the development team
Work with the engineering team across the Netflix organization to establish best practices and procedures for testing across games and platforms.
