Full Job Description:
CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health Company, is hiring for the following position in Woonsocket, RI: Digital Development Engineer to design and develop digital applications and software platforms. Responsibilities include: analyzing user needs and developing software solutions to meet business requirements; Determine design solutions and prepare technical documentation; upgrade existing software and/or systems to improve functionality and features with an emphasis on efficiency, reliability and stress; write and review advanced code and perform unit and/or automation testing; support tools, systems and databases used to process prescriptions, claims and related health activities; Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software development, technical requirements, code reviews, product development, quality assurance, and software development; and a small group teacher. Telecommuting is available. Many situations.
Permission required
Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, information science, computer engineering, engineering or related field and two (2) years of experience in the assigned job or in a related job. Two (2) years of experience required in each area: CI / CD, Jenkins, GIT or DevOps; XML, JSON, HTML, CSS or JavaScript; Agile methodology or SAFE software development principles; Angular, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap or Backbone; Rest APIs, Soaps or Web Services; Software development life cycle; Software development for enterprise or web applications; Write clean, high quality, high performance and scalable code; and web and mobile application development.
