Full Job Description:
The Tooling & Industrial Engineering platoon is responsible for the development and proliferation of custom tooling and service process to help in the rapid-fire development and conservation of Tesla’s Energy storehouse and charging results. This professed and motivated existent will keep pushing this evolving energy assiduity forward by retaining the force chain development and fabrication of new and living service and installation tools.

What You ’ll Do
launch- to- finish force chain power seller identification, on- boarding, first composition, cost concession.
Lead the cost reduction trouble of 30 tools.
Perform cycle time study for new and living service procedures.
Own service effectiveness enhancement sweats by relating gaps in process, tools and training.
Propose custom specialized results to drive operation customization for our Energy storehouse products.
Support RFQ, PO generation. Own creating and maintaining delivery schedule of corridor.
Capability to travel to seller spots, constraint spots, and Giga manufactories 10 of the time.
What You ’ll Bring
2- 3 times of proven force chain operation experience.
1- 2 times of process effectiveness/ optimization experience.
Capability to program manage large systems with fleetly changing conditions.
introductory understanding of low to medium volume mechanical and electrical fabrication processes including PCBA manufacturing, welding, CNC, Ray.
Familiarity with quality dimension/ control styles.
Understanding of DFM/ DFA and mechanical delineations, electrical schematics.
Familiarity with CAD/ PDM is a big plus.
unite and communicate with design stakeholders across program operation, field support, guests, EHS, specialized publications, service engineering, product design,etc.
Strong capability to work with merchandisers on tight deadlines for quick reversal assemblies.
