As a Platform Engineer II you will be responsible for implementation, maintenance and support of software and infrastructure solutions at enterprise scale. You will assist in developing resiliency and operational readiness while providing day to day support to ensure customer requirements are met

- Ensure smooth day to day operations of Giant Eagles Enterprise Platforms
- Support automating away as much of the day to day as possible - “Run by Robots” is the goal.
- Contribute to organization wide best practices for monitoring, alerting and incident management.
- Collaborate on ensuring the reliability and operational readiness of solutions. (High Avail, DR test, self-recovery)
- Identify, respond to, and collaborate with support and product teams to assess and resolve production and customer issues and incidents.
- Help deliver new capabilities, services and offerings while working to transition to Infrastructure as Code with an operations focused point of view.
- Participate in Enterprise Change and ITIL processes and collaborate to provide continuous improvement.
- Provide on call, 24/7 support for production systems on a rotating basis.
- Provide subject matter expertise on key software solutions within the team’s solution portfolio and remain abreast of the team’s entire solution portfolio.
- Remain abreast of industry technical trends and maintain continuous development of current skills to broaden experience across the team’s entire solution portfolio and tech stacks.
- Complete management reports, weekly time sheets and status reports completely, accurately and on time.
Required Skills:
Middle ware Admin with Broadcam Automic UC4 , Microsoft IIS , SSIS Microsoft Biztalk , Apache , Tomcat Web application integration
5+ yrs experience
Good to have scripting experience
