ESG Specialist
PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating, through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are a growing organization seeking a talented ESG Specialist to join our team as pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite in one of our refineries located in Toledo, OH, Martinez, CA, or Paulsboro, NJ.

The ESG Specialist will be responsible for gathering ESG materials for the facilities that they represent.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the implementation of the environmental data management tool.
• Operate as the lead of the site level ESG committees.
• Manage and report all site level ESG metrics.
• Liaison with all groups within the sites to progress ESG objectives.
• Provide site level support to regulatory audits of ESG data.
• Aid in the site level publication of ESG material; in print, on our website, and on social media.
• Develop compliance task list from permits and/or regulations.
• Gather data needed for corporate GHG Scope three calculations.
• Gather data needed for climate risk assessments as required by reporting regulations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree or higher in Information Technology, communications, media studies, environmental studies, business administration, sustainability or other related field; or commensurate experience.
• 2+ years sustainability experience a plus
• Knowledge of and experience working with data management and/or database applications.
• Knowledge of multiple social media platforms and how to manage accounts on these platforms.
• Strong oral and written communication and organization skills.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office programs

• Travel as needed. Approximately 15-30 % but will vary.

CA Job Posting Requirement: The salary range for this position is $ 61,360.00- $103,335.70. The compensation range listed in this posting is in compliance with applicable state law. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, job-related skills and internal peer equity will be considered in determining the selected candidate’s compensation. Salaries at the time of hire are typically in the lower to middle portion of the above range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect future performance-based increases. In addition to salary, PBF offers a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
