As an Assistant Director, you will work closely with the Executive Vice President and be the point of contact for their team. You will set appropriate expectations and manage priorities in a rapidly changing environment. You are an extension of your leader, complementing their work style and upholding Target's values and demonstrating overall excellence, professionalism and leadership. Your open, clear and responsive communication across multiple settings and platforms will ensure you are a trusted resource for external partners, vendors and community leaders. You must be present for the complexities and nuances of the business that your leader oversees and act as the main point of contact for reports and team members. You will provide special support to manage the important things and processes for executives who are always traveling and always on the go. Project management skills are essential to eliminating confusion and freeing up your leader's time. Bring your talent for problem solving, critical thinking and recognizing obstacles before they arise. Be a leader by fostering the development of small administrative support staff in your area. About you:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of administrative or similar experience
• 1+ years of direct support from a senior manager
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to communicate at different levels, both internally and externally
• Strong collaborative skills to build partnerships across the organization
• Flexible, flexible and agile; Good working in the "grey area" is always changing.
• Responsible for the high performance of the road; ability to manage workload and shift work
• Exceptional ability to solve problems and make decisions
• Great attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Previous experience selected by Fortune 500 companies
• Preferred four-year degree
