Position Summary
This position involves the repair of mixer trucks, (International / Mack / Volvo / Kenworth / Peterbilt) and Mixer Assemblies and related parts. This position involves working rotating shifts and alternating Saturdays.
Requirements
- Engine diagnostic experience
- Hydraulic diagnosis and repair
- 3 + years Diesel Engine experience preferred but not required
- Commercial Driver’s License a Plus / Class B but not required
- Must Have Own Hand Tools
- Ability to work SAFE at all times
Minimum Education and Experience
- Must have a class C operators license
- Must have clean driving history and focus on safety
- Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with heavy truck repair
Physical Requirements
- Able to work up to 11 hours
- Lift objects of various dimensions and weights
- Ability to climb stairs, climb ladders, reach, squat, tolerate prolonged standing/walking, balance, bend from trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects
- Ability to use vibration tools
- Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather
- Most time is spent outside in all weather conditions-heat, cold, wet or dry. May have exposure
- to dust, sand, gravel, diesel exhaust, etc.
