Job Summary
DBS Manufacturing, an industrial gearbox manufacturer located near the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport, is looking for a skilled Fabricator/Technician to join our team! In this role, you will construct products from raw materials, ensuring all pieces meet factory specifications and safety standards. You must be able to read and follow schematics and adhere to a strict production schedule while always prioritizing safety.
Responsibilities
- Verify all necessary parts for the product are available
- Confirm measurements of parts and proper fit
- Adhere to a strict production schedule
- Test products after production to ensure consistency and quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues
Qualifications
- Previous experiences as a Fabricator or in a similar position
- Experience operating forklifts and overhead crane
- Highly detail-oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints
- Familiar with common fabrication equipment: Hand tools, welding machine, band saw, iron worker (shear/punch), squares, tape measure, Basic computer skills
- Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and be capable of reading and writing in English.
- Candidates are required to provide their own hand tools.
- Capable of lifting objects up to 50lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Starting Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience.
