Full Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Worldwide Support Fund (WWS) team to support Amazon's support initiatives. In this role, you will work to develop ways to use carbon pricing to drive sustainable investment across businesses in the most cost-effective way. As a Financial Analyst, you will work closely with Amazon's support leaders to develop business strategies and research insights to support Amazon's support goals. It's an opportunity to work hard, have fun and make history.
Main functions
• Support the development of carbon pricing systems.
• Support regulatory disclosures and reports related to sustainability
• Create financial models and perform various media analysis to help business leaders solve business problems and understand financial implications
• Influences business decisions through effective verbal and written communication, analysis and processing of data from data, and presentation of options and alternatives.
3+ years of experience in tax, finance or related audit area
BA/BS in finance, accounting, business and economics, or similar. DISCLAIMER WANTED
4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects within your organization to increase its management through a track record of measurable results.
MBA or CPA
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing projects simultaneously and see projects through to completion
Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Must be comfortable working in a cross-functional team
Ability to work at all levels of management
SQL and VBA skills a plus
