Graphic Designer (Part-Time)
Precept Wine is the largest privately owned wine company in the Northwest. Driven to excellence, our dedicated, dynamic team delivers a world-class experience from vine to consumer. We’re seamlessly integrated between our vineyards, wineries, sales and marketing, tasting rooms and hospitality. We are seeking an innovative and strategic Graphic Designer to fill an immediate opening in our Seattle office.
The Graphic Designer is responsible for the creative development of a wide array of marketing tools and dynamic packaging that deliver on brand positioning and strategy.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the marketing team to establish and understand brand strategy and visual direction.
- Design new and innovative labels and packaging for new brand concepts and existing brand extensions.
- Design creative material for Precept's vast wine portfolio, including but not limited to: retail signage and displays, point of sale collateral, sales tools, brochures, social media and web graphics.
- Present and discuss your work with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal production team and external vendors to ensure quality of all printed products.
- Own and successfully deliver large, long-term, integrated design projects, while balancing multiple short-term projects at once.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with a focus in design or a related field (e.g. graphic, visual communications), or 3+ years professional experience in a creative firm, agency or in-house creative department.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Illustration skills preferred. Knowledge of MS Office Suite a plus.
- Excellent organization and time management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Print and digital design portfolio that demonstrates strong layout, typographic and production skills. Creative design in packaged goods is a plus.
- A passion for acquiring new knowledge and staying on top of the latest trends and developments in design and technology.
- Business-minded attitude with an interest in working collaboratively with marketing, communications and sales.
