Job Summary:
The Health Information Tech at University Surgery Center, is responsible for maintaining the facility’s medical records and is responsible for their accuracy, safety, and confidentiality. Schedule surgeries and procedures and assist in registration following processes developed to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 / hour
Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
Required Skills:
Required
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Training or courses in business office activities
- Good communication skills
- Strong ethical and moral character references
Preferred
- Medical records experience
University Surgery Center with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
