As an Inside Business Representative (ISR), you will work directly with local businesses to help them achieve their goals through Yelp's various social media programs. You'll work with small business owners over the phone to determine their needs and wants and tailor each sales pitch to help make them stand out. We thrive when we help our clients grow their businesses. Because people are at the center of everything we do, one of your top priorities is to educate business owners about the benefits of Yelp advertising. In this role, you will be responsible for selling advertising space on Yelp to local businesses in the United States and Canada. Success in this role is measured by meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals, progressing daily metrics, and managing rejections effectively. What to do:
Develop, manage and sell a successful Yelp advertising program through a high volume of outbound sales calls - this service is 100% phone based. Your goal is to reach as many businesses as possible. You will work one of the following hours (in your local time), or another as determined by your manager: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; 8:30 am to 5:30 pm; or from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Acquire and manage a pipeline of customers from dentists to florists to home decorators, all organized in our CRM (Salesforce)

Become an expert in Yelp advertising solutions and quickly adapt product recommendations to customer needs. Asking probing questions and overcoming customer complaints and objections will be critical to your success.
