THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for implementing and executing an efficient and profitable replenishment strategy for all retail channels and distribution centers within ULTA. They will manage the allocation and replenishment of designated product category(s) to maintain an in -stock standard while achieving planned inventory financial objectives.
YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
- Create purchase orders for all ads, events including weekly replenishment and promotional orders leveraging forecasts.
- Provide analytics/insights to support business decisions to optimize sales and productivity.
- Establish and maintain Vendor relationships improving on fill rate, and on time delivery, while improving omni-channel in stocks.
- Actively participate in weekly cross-functional team meetings
- Drive towards maintaining or exceeding KPI goals inclusive of driving sales, margin, and inventory turn and in-stocks
- Weekly review and updates to store level forecasts within the forecast and replenishment system
- Complete on-going training and development courses supported by the HR Training Team or the Merchandise Operations Training Team.

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
- 1-2 years working in retail or related environment. Forecast and Replenishment system knowledge preferred
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong listening skills
- Critical thinker, able to interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders and influence with data
- Overtime and weekends as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong eye for detail, and capable of multi-tasking
- Willingness to adopt new processes, and be a change advocate.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with solid proficiency in usage of Excel. Working knowledge of SAP or JDA a plus
- Ability to work with large amounts of data into trends and develop accurate and actionable insights based on the data
- Strong problem solving, retail math, and analytical skills.
- Highly motivated individual with strong initiative and positive attitude
- Strong work ethic, ability to meet tight deadlines/thrive in fast-pace environment
- Professionalism and confidentiality required both internally & externally
- Follows principles & values to do the right thing
- Ability to embrace/maneuver change with a positive attitude
