Here are the available turnaround times:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 5:30 pm to 4 pm.
- Wednesday - Saturday - 6 am to 4:30 pm.
- Sunday - Wednesday - 6 am to 4:30 pm.
What to do
Download and receive incoming furniture orders that require manual handling of large, heavy goods. Use tracking technology to record important box-level information, including equipment location, quantity and warehouse location.
Carefully review the process control system to ensure all orders are received correctly and details are provided for any overage/congestion/damage issues. Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory is accurate and up-to-date.
Select deliveries from inventory and sort them by truck and stop number. Provide direct input into existing user tools and make recommendations for improvements based on your daily experience.
Track property inventory changes and update this group's reports
Works well with peers and managers. Find out the most efficient way to accomplish your assigned task and ask clarifying questions when appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you will need
Must be comfortable lifting up to 75 pounds frequently. stock does not help and in moving 150+ lbs. unaided or by a group lift.
Must be able to work on the warehouse floor 8 hours per day or more. Follow the rules and investigate the problem.
Comfort through research technology. Carrier or similar heavy equipment experience
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
Basic computer knowledge and combining actual inventory figures with computer generated reports.
Create physical inventory numbers
Previous inventory experience or warehouse knowledge preferred
Experience in Distribution or Logistics is a plus. Able to read and understand English to ensure your safety and that of those working around you.
