Join the Enterprise Agility Tools & Work Management group as a Sr Software Engineer on the Agile Transformation Office team for KeyBank! Be part of a team whose mission is to be a strategic enabler, contributing to cultural and structural results and a modern way of working. The Sr Software Engineer will be responsible for tool support and developing automations and integrations to improve the life of our internal KeyBank customers.

Essential Job Functions

• Own and influence the development, implementation, assessment, and support of one or more environments, applications, or platforms.
• Independently develops clean, maintainable, testable code for work assigned; performs code reviews for all levels of engineer.
• Designs solutions for the overall health, performance, and availability and actively works resolution of system and client experience impacts for one or more environments, applications, or platforms.
• Strong technical expert on the team; assigns work, mentors, and trains junior engineers.
• Advocates for new technology and improvements.
• Applies, and prepares to ensure, proper security standards for code development.
• Assists in the development of strategies for the full software development life cycle of new and emerging technologies and make recommendations regarding selected technologies and demonstrates the viability
• Creates technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts for developing code
• Identifies and develops potential standards and best practices.
• Proposes high-level application platform architectural guidelines
• Formulates and designs technical solutions to meet business needs

Required Qualifications:

• Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
• 5+ Years of Jira administration experience. Atlassian certified Jira Administrator preferred
• Demonstrable knowledge and practice of Agile (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience or understanding of the following: Integration/Automation frameworks, SQL, APIs, Exchange and Active Directory, Bitbucket and/or GitLab
• Ability to prioritize & support multiple assignments projects, tasks, and responsibilities concurrently

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines with minimal oversight

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $77,000 to $143,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
