About this job:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Research Manager to join our Consumer Loan Research team. Consumer loan reviews cover home, auto, credit cards, personal loan groups, customer service, consumer loan reviews and consumer loans.
In this role, you will:
Lead the implementation of the integrated research process
Participate in Wells Fargo Audit Services regulatory audits
Demonstrate depth and breadth of knowledge and understanding across a range of businesses or develop expertise in a critical area
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of financial, operational, technical and organizational trends across multiple businesses or develop a strong focus on key business areas.
Write ideas that express important facts that lead to logical conclusions
Raise material risks and exposures to appropriate levels of management
Ensure documents and reports are ready for review by managers and other senior management
Present a credible challenge
Analyze and provide appropriate solutions to complex problems
Lead multiple collaborative projects that are typically medium to large in size and medium to high in complexity
Identify and analyze key risks and controls and develop effective test plans for assigned interventions and limited direction
Present research results accurately and impartially
Determine reporting accuracy, communicate preliminary findings to client management, and write final audit reports
Develop and maintain effective business relationships within internal audit and with business partners
