Full Job Description:
A shift in research and practice is a critical partner to the research teams of retail investors, helping them achieve important business goals related to returns, pricing and margins. The team builds advanced analytics solutions (using machine learning and other statistical techniques) to identify opportunities, engage with stakeholders and organizations to implement strategies and measure impact. In addition, the team develops tools and capabilities to enable business units to design, implement and measure their own solutions.
As a Lead Data Scientist, your role will be to:
• See projects from inception to production. • Works on a wide variety of problem areas including forecasting, scheduling, regression, analytics to name a few.
• Coordinates regularly with technical teams (Analytics, Data Engineering, IT) as well as non-technical business stakeholders and senior management. • Collaborate with business partners to identify innovative use cases, perform root cause analysis, support decisions and gain insights from data.
• Work, work and sense of urgency, have strong thinking and analytical skills, and have a passion for creating high-quality analytical solutions.
• Develop and present practical, opinion-driven and research-based research with recommendations and forward-looking strategies to target diverse audiences, including internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Training small group members to provide technical advice
The rate of pay represents the regular hourly or monthly rate of pay for all positions and job classes covered by this position. The actual salary will depend on various factors, including experience, education, geography and other important factors. This position is eligible for CVS Health cash, commissions, or part-time incentive programs in addition to the compensation limits listed above.
